SaltRocks! on Recommended Duration of Treatments

Recommended use is 15-20 minutes per day for at least 21 days. The treatment can be divided such as 10 minutes in the morning after awakening and 10 minutes at night before bed.

The duration of total treatments can be raised up to 1-2 hours per day, as needed. In order to achieve maximum therapeutic results, one should obtain consistent exposure daily, as opposed to sporadic usage.

SaltRocks! on How to Care for a Salt Pipe Inhaler

Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth on the outside only. Water, liquid of any kind, humidity or vapor will damage the mechanism by exposing the salt crystals to moisture. It is, therefore, advisable not to breathe back into the device and to enclose and store it in a dry place (not the bathroom or kitchen).

SaltRocks! Caveat for the Aroma TherapipeTM Mineral Salt Inhaler

The first few inhales will have a salty aftertaste but will rapidly dissipate thereafter. The device should be administered to children under adult supervision so that, initially, the adult can clear the aftertaste so as not to turn the child off from further treatments. Also, if the device is inadvertently dropped and the porcelain is thereby fractured, it is no longer recommended for use due to the impact.

The Aroma TherapipeTM is recommended for use in children who are a minimum of 3 years old. In fact, there is no age limit but because of breathing ability, children need to be taught to inhale through the mouth and exhale through the nose or inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth without blowing air back into the device. If need be, the nose can be treated separately if the child recognizes how to inhale through the nostril by following the instructions above on using the salt inhaler for therapy via nose inhalation.

color coded = convenience

It is recommended to use only one pipe per person so the device is
color coded, in case there is more than one owner per family.

valve = product protection

Please do not remove the rubber valve toward the top of the pipe. This valve is there in the event you exhale through the pipe rather than through the nose. The valve protects the crystals from the humidity and vapors created when you exhale back through the pipe. It is best to exhale through the nose.

Store it in a dry place. Please do not use if the container is dropped, cracked or chipped.
